This site is funded by affiliate commissions. Here is exactly how that works.
What an affiliate link is
Some links here — normally the buttons that send you to a product's official store — carry a tracking code identifying us as the referring site. If you buy after following one, the seller pays us a commission.
It costs you nothing extra
The commission comes out of the seller's margin. You pay the same price you would pay by typing their address into your browser yourself.
What it does not change
The rate is the same whether a page is enthusiastic or critical, so there is no financial reason to overstate anything. Where a manufacturer does not publish a price or an ingredient quantity, we say so instead of guessing. Where a product category cannot legitimately claim a medical benefit, we do not claim one on its behalf.
No advertiser reviews our pages before publication, and no advertiser pays for placement, ranking or particular wording. Participation in an affiliate programme is never a condition of coverage.
Where the links go
Affiliate links point to the manufacturer's or an authorised seller's own store. Your order, payment details, shipping and any refund are handled entirely by them, under their terms and their privacy policy. We never see your payment information and cannot access, change or cancel an order.
How links are marked
Every page containing an affiliate link carries a visible disclosure above the first purchase button. The links themselves are marked in the page code with rel="sponsored nofollow".
If we get it wrong
If you find a page where a link is not disclosed, tell us through the contact page and we will fix it.
